Tourism taxes (generally not included in the room rate). Institutions 'guesthouses' Moroccans have to collect 2 taxes to their customers: - The Tourism Promotion Tax (TPT): the amount of the tax depends on the type of institution, between 8 and 11 dirhams per person per night. This tax is collected by the hosts and fully paid to the Moroccan National Office of Tourism homes. - City Tax (since January 2008) as well as Hotels and Restaurants, the 'guesthouses' are now subject to municipal taxes. The amount of this tax is 15 dirhams per person (over 12) per night.
Booking conditions and cancellation
Riad First invoice the client credit card a cancellation fee as follows:
- If the client cancels between 30 days and 21 days before arrival: 30% of the entire stay will be charged to the credit card supplied by the institution.
- If the client cancels between 20 days and 11 days before: 50% of the entire stay will be charged to the credit card supplied by the institution
- If the customer cancels within 10 days and the day of arrival: 100% of the entire stay will be charged to the credit card supplied by the institution.
